Automotive Comfort Air Conditioning Dummy Test System

Berkeley Zhang evaluation model: This model is applicable to the physiological characteristics of Chinese human body, and evaluates human thermal sensation and comfort in the non-uniform and transient environment of automobiles.
Main parameters:
Dummy size:
The design is based on theChinese male 50th percentile human body sizeand characteristics to simulate the thermal comfort of the real human body.
Dummy material:
Usually lightweight and durable materials, such as fiberglass, are used to ensure that long-term use in high and low temperature and high humidity environments will not fade and rust.
Joint connection:
The dummy realizes joint connection in the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, knee and ankle, and can realize flexible adjustment of various positions to simulate the sitting position and movement of the real human body.
Sensor configuration:
A number of sensors, such as temperature sensor, humidity sensor and heat radiation sensor, are configured on the surface of the dummy to measure the climatic environment parameters in the cabin.
Communication method:
Wireless or wired communication connections can be used between the dummy and the master controller to achieve real-time data transmission and monitoring.
Main controller functions:
Each master controller can support multiple sets of dummies to carry out the test simultaneously, improving the test efficiency.
Data can be displayed, stored and historical data queried in the form of alphanumeric, y-t charts and 3D cloud images, and exported locally in CSV format.
Range of test parameters:
Air temperature:The measurement range is usually between -20°C and +70°C, with calibration accuracy of ±1.0°C and display accuracy of ±0.1°C.
Air flow rate:The measurement range is usually between 0.1 and 5.0 m/s.
Relative humidity: The measurement range is usually between 0 and 95%RH (non-condensing)。
Radiant heat:The measurement range of the radiation sensor is near zero to >2,000 W/m².
Thermal comfort evaluation index:
The system supports a variety of thermal comfort evaluation indicators, such as PMV-PPD, EHT based on ISO 14505-2, local and global thermal sensation and thermal comfort based on Berkeley-Zhang theory, etc.
