Passive Attenuator
HBTE passive attenuatorinclude continuous variable attenuator, step attenuators, and coaxial attenuator. We supply RF attenuator impedance specifications are 50 ohms and 75 ohms. There are 2.92mm, N, and SMA connectors of these series of passive Attenuators. The RF dB attenuation of attenuators ranges from 0 dB to 99 dB. What is the main function of fixed attenuator
(1) Adjust the size of the signal in the circuit;
(2) In the comparison measurement circuit, the attenuation value of the network under test can be read directly;
(3) If some circuits require a relatively stable load impedance, an attenuator can be inserted between the circuit and the actual load impedance to buffer the change of impedance.
If I exceed the maximum input level, will I burn out the fixed attenuator?
All of HBTE fixed attenuators are tested and specified at 50Ω impedance, can I use them at 75Ω?
