Industrial lubrication:
Microcrystalline wax as a lubricant, can reduce the friction between mechanical parts, to extend the service life of equipment. Its lubricity energy in its unique molecular structure: n-alkane content is low, the main component is cyclic hydrocarbons (such as cycloalkanes), the larger the molecular weight, the higher the content of isomeric alkanes and cycloalkanes with a long side chain, the structure of this tendency to plastic flow under force, elongation, high strength of the oil gel.
Rubber & Plastics Processing:
In rubber and plastics processing, microcrystalline wax is used as a softening agent to improve processing performance, improve the flexibility and aging resistance of products. For example, in plastics processing, it enhances the fluidity and abrasion resistance of plastics while maintaining the stability of the products.
