Ft wax specilized for hot melt adhesive
Fischer-Tropsch wax is a synthetic wax primarily used in the hot melt adhesive industry. Characterised by a high melting point, low viscosity, and high hardness, it significantly enhances the performance of hot melt adhesives.
Primary Functions
Adjusting curing time: Fischer-Tropsch wax rapidly reduces viscosity in hot melt adhesives, improving flow properties at elevated temperatures and shortening curing time to under 15 seconds.
Enhances heat resistance: Its high melting point (approximately 100°C) improves the adhesive's thermal stability, making it suitable for bonding operations in high-temperature environments.
Optimises surface wetting: The wax's strong fluidity enhances the adhesive's wetting effect on bonding surfaces, thereby increasing adhesion strength.
Improved processing properties: In plastics processing, Fischer-Tropsch wax promotes filler dispersion, increasing production speed and enhancing product surface gloss.
