Coatings and Inks Industry: Adding micronized wax(such as polyethylene or polytetrafluoroethylene waxes) to coatings and inks significantly improves coating abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, and slip properties, while mitigating paper friction damage during printing. For instance, in industrial coatings, wood finishes, and powder coatings, they also serve as matting agents, enhancing surface tactility. Plastics and Rubber Processing: As internal or external release agents, micronized waxprevent plastic products from adhering to moulds during forming while improving the gloss of finished surfaces.
