Microcrystalline wax, as a key component in coating formulations, primarily serves the following functions:
Superior water resistance and moisture barrier: Possessing a fine crystalline structure and high melting point, microcrystalline wax forms a dense, flexible hydrophobic film that effectively blocks moisture and humidity, protecting the contents.
