Ceramic twin brackets are similar to metal twin brackets, but they use clear or tooth-colored brackets rather than metallic brackets. They're less noticeable on your teeth than metal braces, which can be a huge advantage if you're considering braces and don't want to feel self-conscious about wearing them. But they're slightly less durable than metal, especially for the patients whose adult teeth haven't come in. They're easy to break due to the strain of tooth movement.
