PM Fiber Optic PLC Splitter
PM fiber optic PLC Splitteris composed of a PLC chip, an input fiber array and an output fiber array. Normally, the PLCoptical splittercan split the input power evenly while keeping the states of polarization unchanged. Thus, it is mainly used in fiber sensoring system. Being aware of the impotance of PLC fiber splitter, MEISU produces various fiber optic splitter typeswith multiple channels, including 1×2, 1×4, and 1×8.

How It Works
PMPLCSplitter is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. It usually includes planar lightwave circuit chip, single channel polarization-maintaining fiber array as the input end and multi-channel polarization maintaining optical fiberarray as output ports. PM fiber PLC Splitteris a critical optical power management device in optical coherent communication and optical fiber sensing system.
