Type D112 Industrial Wrapped Rubber V Belt for Machine
The purpose of a wear-resistant covering is twofold. The fabric provides wear resistance, making the triangle belt more durable. The contact between the belt and pulley is constant and can occur at very high speeds.
This additional protection against contamination and wear on the belt and pulley allows the belt to operate longer before it wears out too much to properly transmit the required power.
