Unsaturated polyester resin refers to the polycondensation reaction of diacids and diols to form a polymer containing unsaturated double bonds.And the maleic anhydride usesare very wide.
Specifications of UPR
Unsaturated polyester resin is a kind of thermosetting resin, when it is in the action of heat or initiator, can be cured into a kind of insoluble and insoluble polymer network polymer. However, the polymer has low mechanical strength and cannot meet the requirements of most applications. When reinforced with glass fiber, it can become a composite material, commonly known as "fiberglass". Compared with resin casting, the mechanical strength and other properties of FRP have been greatly improved.
