Phospho-L-Tyrosine Disodium Salt
Storage Methods of Phospho-L-Tyrosine Disodium Salt For long-term storage (≥6 months), store the dry powder (≥98% HPLC purity) at -20℃ ± 5℃ in a ultra-low temperature freezer, preferably a chest freezer to minimize temperature fluctuations from frequent door openings. Use airtight, light-resistant containers such as amber glass vials or HDPE bottles with Teflon-lined caps; evacuate air or flush with inert gas (nitrogen or argon) before sealing to prevent moisture absorption and oxidation. Divide bulk samples into small aliquots (e.g., 10 mg, 50 mg) to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as each aliquot should be used within 1–2 freeze-thaw cycles to prevent phosphate ester bond hydrolysis. For short-term storage (1–6 months), store aqueous solutions or reconstituted samples at 4℃ ± 2℃ in a refrigerator (not a freezer). Prepare fresh aqueous solutions (10–100 mM) using sterile deionized water or buffer (pH 5.0–7.0), and add 0.01% sodium azide (NaN₃) or 0.1% BSA as a preservative to inhibit microbial growth. Avoid storing dilute solutions (<1 mM) for more than 1 week. For samples reconstituted in buffer, add phosphatase and protease inhibitors if needed, and use within 3–5 days.
