L-Cysteine S-Sulfate Na in
Relying on its strong complexation ability with heavy metal ions, L-Cysteine S-Sulfate Na is applied in the treatment of heavy metal-contaminated wastewater and soil remediation.
Heavy metal-contaminated wastewater treatment agent: L-Cysteine S-Sulfate Na can be used as a green chelating agent to treat industrial wastewater containing heavy metals such as electroplating wastewater and mining wastewater. L-Cysteine S-Sulfate Na reacts with heavy metal ions in wastewater to form insoluble complexes, which are removed by precipitation and filtration. Compared with traditional chemical precipitation agents, it has higher selectivity and lower dosage, and does not cause secondary pollution to the water body.
Soil remediation auxiliary agent: In the remediation of heavy metal-contaminated soil, L-Cysteine S-Sulfate Na can be mixed with soil amendments such as biochar and humic acid to form a composite remediation agent. It can fix the heavy metal ions in the soil, reduce their mobility and bioavailability, and prevent them from being absorbed by crops, thus reducing the risk of heavy metal accumulation in the food chain.
