Peptide Synthesis Intermediate: It is a standard reagent for solid-phase or solution-phase peptide synthesis. The Boc group (acid-labile) protects the α-amino group, and the two methyl esters protect the carboxyl groups (hydrolyzable under alkaline conditions), preventing side reactions during coupling and ensuring the synthesis of L-glutamic acid-containing peptides with high chiral purity.
