What is the Difference Between Capacitive and Resistive Touch Screen?



Resistive touch screen work according to pressure sensor and capacitive touch screen works accroding to human current.



Capacitive touch is more sensitive than resistive touch.

Capacitive touch screen support multi-point touch, but resistive touch screen don't support.

Which is Better, Resistive Touch or Capacitive Touch?

No matter resistive touch or capacitive touch, all have their advantage and disadvantage. We have to choose according to our detail application.

Resistive touch screen have high precise, low cost, stability, support any touch items, applicate in any enviroment, good glare interference, good electromagnetic interference, little dust water influence characters. The disadvantage is obvious too, risk to be broken by sharp items, low sensitivity, don't support muli-point touch.

Capacitive touch have high sensitivity, high precise, multi-touch, long lifespan, hardness pro. But it is easy to effect by water, dust, oil, bad glare interfrence.
