BS 1387: 1985 has been withdrawn and replaced by the European standard EN 10255:2004 (implemented by UK national standard body as BS EN 10255:2004 "Non-alloy steel tubes suitable for welding or threading"). The following table shows the corresponding types in BS 1387 and EN 10255.
BS 1387 (EN 10255) is a British standard for black welded pipes for BS21 tanks and BS21 tanks, BS 1387 hot-dip galvanized steel tubes for gas, air and water transport, civil and other structures. BS1387 ERW galvanized steel pipe which nominal size DN8-DN150 in linght,medium and heavy thickness.
