Applications
The infusion set flow rate tester is an instrument specifically designed for measuring and monitoring the flow rate of infusion sets. Test Procedures
Infusion Flow Rate
For infusion sets with a drip rate of 20 drops/mL, the infusion set should deliver at least 1000 mL of sodium chloride solution [mass concentration p(NaCl) = 9 g/L] within 10 minutes under a static pressure head of 1 meter.
For infusion sets with a drip rate of 60 drops/mL, the infusion set should deliver at least 1000 mL of sodium chloride solution [mass concentration p(NaCl) = 9 g/L] within 40 minutes under a static pressure head of 1 meter.
