Features
1. Multi-Energy Range and High-Precision Testing
The equipment supports three adjustable impact energy levels: 1J, 2J, and 3J, with a resolution up to 0.001J, meeting the testing needs of flexible packaging materials ranging from thin to thick.
Punch sizes are available in Φ12.7mm, Φ19mm, and Φ25.4mm, while clamp diameters are compatible with Φ60mm and Φ89mm, accommodating samples of varying thicknesses and structures.
2. Constant Impact Velocity and Pneumatic System
The impact velocity is constant at 2.5m/s, ensuring repeatability of test results.
The pneumatic clamping and pendulum release system effectively reduces human error and improves test stability.
3. Intelligent Data Management
Equipped with a microcomputer control system, it supports parameter setting, automatic data statistics, and visualized result display.
Compatible with the Lystem™ laboratory data sharing system, enabling one-click generation and unified management of test reports.

Test Procedures
1. Environmental Condition Control
Samples must be pretreated for at least 4 hours in an environment with a temperature of 23±2℃ and humidity of 45%~55% to avoid the influence of temperature and humidity on material properties (refer to GB/T 8809 and ISO standards).
2. Sample Preparation and Installation
Samples should be uniformly 100mm×100mm in size, with no wrinkles, bubbles, or damage on the surface.
Select the punch size according to the material characteristics (e.g., Φ12.7mm for thin films, Φ25.4mm for thick composite films) and match the corresponding fixture.
3. Equipment Parameter Calibration
Before testing, the initial angle of the pendulum (90°), impact velocity (2.5m/s), and energy zero point must be calibrated to ensure compliance with standards such as ASTM D3420.
Verify the equipment accuracy using standard samples to avoid errors caused by mechanical wear or sensor drift.
4. Data Acquisition and Analysis
Record the energy consumed by the punch during the impact process and analyze the material deformation characteristics in conjunction with the stress-strain curve.
Compare the material to standard thresholds (e.g., the impact resistance of food packaging composite films should be ≥2J) to assess whether the material meets the application requirements.
