The Veslic Colorfastness Abrasion Tester is designed to evaluate colorfastness under rubbing (crocking) conditions for leather, finished textiles, and other coated or treated materials.
Application
It simulates real-world wear scenarios, such as foot rubbing, cross-legged seating, or material abrasion, using felt, rubber, abrasive papers, or fabric pads.
The system allows testing dry or wet, using distilled water or synthetic perspiration, and evaluates color change or marring against standard gray scales in controlled lighting conditions.
