SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit (Nephelometry Immunoassay Method) produced by Shijiazhuang Hipro Biotechnology Co., Ltd can be used for qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in nasopharyngeal swab or oropharyngeal swab samples. It is only used for early triage and rapid management of samples within 7 days of the onset of symptoms in the suspected population of acute infection, and cannot be used as the basis for the diagnosis and exclusion of pneumonia infected by SARS-CoV-2, and cannot be used for screening in the general population.

Testing Principle of SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit (Nephelometry immunoassay Method)
The SARS-CoV-2 gene encodes multiple structural proteins, such as N protein, E protein, and S protein, that include multiple antigen epitopes.
Based on the specific binding principle of antigen and antibody, the presence of antigen can be detected by antibody, which directly proves the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in the sample.
The types of samples suitable for antigen test reagents are usually from the infected sites, such as a nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab.
SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit (Nephelometry Immunoassay Method) produced by Shijiazhuang Hipro Biotechnology Co., Ltd is a liquid double reagent, adopting Nephelometry Immunoassay Method.
SARS-CoV-2 recombinant protein antibody is coated on the latex particle, the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in the sample binds specifically to the corresponding antibody sensitized latex in the reagent to form antigen-antibody complexes.
The complex causes the change of scattering intensity under the irradiation of incident light, and the change rate of scattering light intensity is positively correlated with the content of SARS-CoV-2 antigen in the sample.
The content of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in the sample is calculated by the standard curve, and the positive conclusion of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in the sample is obtained according to the content.
