Insect attractant for Ips duplicatus/double spined bark beetleDETAIL:This pheromone lure is for Ips duplicatus, the double-spined bark beetle.Manufactured with high quality semiochemicals and constant release carriers, this attractant is species specific, residue free and effective for attracting targeted insects for more than 45 days in the fields, perfect for monitoring or mass trapping.INSECT INFORMATION:The larvae and adults are similar in size. The larvae are 4.5-5.5 mm long, white, cylindrical and legless, with small, brown, chitinous heads and brown mandibles.Trees that are attacked or infested by I. duplicatus have discoloured crowns. The needles are lighter in colour, form mats and often fall to the ground. They are green and thus visible under the tree.
