Helmet Anti-roll-off Performance Tester

Purpose

Apply an initial load of a certain force to the rear of the helmet. Then, let a weight specified by the standard fall from a certain height so that the impact force is also applied to the helmet. In this way, the wearing stability performance of the helmet can be evaluated.

Test standard:

IS 4151 , ECE R22.05

Mass of initial load: 3 kg ± 0.1 kg

Mass of falling weight: 10 kg ± 0.01 kg

Lowering height: 0.5 meters ± 0.01 meters

Measuring method: manual

Electricity: 220V 50HZ

Test theory: vertical descent

Test steps:

1. previously to the ambient temperature and sanitary conditions for the conditions of the helmet, should be placed on the appropriate head shape and fixed in the appropriate head.

2. In the median vertical plane of the helmet, a device that guides and releases the fall with a total mass of 3 kg ± 0.1 kg is attached to the rear of the shell.

3. 10 kg ± 0.01 kg of falling mass is released and lowered from a height of 0.5 m ± 0.01 m. The guiding device should ensure that the impact velocity is not less than 95% of the theoretical velocity.
