Wear-resistant titanium carbide rods suitable for pump and valve parts

Hard alloy titanium carbide round rods, as a critical material in high-end manufacturing, exhibit exceptional corrosion resistance, maintaining structural integrity in humid, acidic, and alkaline environments without rusting or degradation. With a thermal conductivity 15% higher than that of conventional tungsten carbide round rods, they efficiently dissipate heat generated during cutting operations, thereby reducing the risk of thermal-induced tool wear. These round rods possess a bending strength of up to 2500 MPa, combining high hardness with adequate toughness to withstand impact loads without fracturing. In aerospace applications, they are widely employed in precision machining tools for engine components, meeting stringent requirements for dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Owing to their superior electrical conductivity, they are suitable for use as electrodes in electrical discharge machining (EDM), where they demonstrate low electrode损耗 and high machining precision in the fabrication of complex molds. Furthermore, their excellent fatigue resistance ensures durability under repeated cyclic loading, making them ideal for tooling components subjected to high-frequency vibrations. In the nuclear energy sector, their outstanding radiation resistance renders them particularly suitable for machining internal reactor components under extreme conditions.
