Chromium carbide powder has outstanding high-temperature oxidation resistance. Its oxidation rate is low below 900℃ in the air, and the formed oxide film can prevent further oxidation, making it suitable for use in high-temperature working conditions. When applied to the coating of gas turbine blades, it enables the blades to operate normally at high temperatures of 600-800℃ and extends the maintenance cycle. The sintering activity of the powder is high. After sintering with the metal binder phase at 1100-1300℃, high-density cemented carbide can be made, with a flexural strength of over 1500MPa. In the field of high-temperature bearings, this alloy bearing can withstand high temperatures and high loads, and its performance is superior to that of traditional bearing steel. Chromium carbide powder is often irregular grayish-black particles with a particle size of 10-40μm, a purity of ≥98%, and a free carbon content of ≤0.5%. It features high hardness and excellent wear resistance, with a bulk density of 2.9-3.2g/cm³, and is suitable for thermal spraying and surfacing processes. It is widely used for surface strengthening of easily worn parts such as mine crusher liners and metallurgical roller tracks, effectively resisting material erosion and extending the service life of equipment
