Chromium carbide powder improves impact toughness by 30%

Chromium carbide powder has outstanding high-temperature oxidation resistance. Its oxidation rate is low below 900℃ in the air, and the formed oxide film can prevent further oxidation, making it suitable for use in high-temperature working conditions. When applied to the coating of gas turbine blades, it enables the blades to operate normally at high temperatures of 600-800℃ and extends the maintenance cycle. The sintering activity of the powder is high. After sintering with the metal binder phase at 1100-1300℃, high-density cemented carbide can be made, with a flexural strength of over 1500MPa. In the field of high-temperature bearings, this alloy bearing can withstand high temperatures and high loads, and its performance is superior to that of traditional bearing steel. This chromium carbide powder is dark grayish black in color, with a particle size of 20-50μm. It has outstanding high-temperature stability and maintains stable performance below 800℃. By surfacing and cladding the air inlet of metallurgical blast furnaces and the surface of hot rolling mill rolls, the formed cladding layer is wear-resistant and resistant to high-temperature oxidation, which can reduce the maintenance frequency of high-temperature operation equipment and ensure continuous production.
