Fatigue-resistant, impact-resistant titanium carbide hard alloy rod

Titanium carbide cemented carbide round bars can be customized to produce products with different properties by adjusting the titanium carbide content and binder ratio. When the titanium carbide content is higher, the material exhibits superior wear resistance, making it ideal for rough machining applications. Increasing the binder ratio enhances toughness, making it more suitable for precision machining. With a density of just 6.5 g/cm³, it is 20% lighter than tungsten carbide rods of the same size, making it ideal for lightweight tools. In the 3C electronics industry, it is commonly used to process precision parts such as smart frames and laptop casings, ensuring a scratch-free surface and minimal dimensional errors. The production process for these rods is extremely rigorous, from controlling the purity of titanium carbide powder (purity ≥99.5%) to precisely regulating sintering temperature (approximately 1500°C), with each step influencing the final performance. The finished product exhibits excellent dimensional stability, with a thermal expansion coefficient of only 6×10⁻⁶/℃ across a temperature range of -50℃ to 300℃, significantly lower than that of metallic materials, ensuring precise tool performance under various environmental conditions. It is widely used in wear-resistant inserts for automotive molds, capable of withstanding prolonged high-pressure friction without significant wear, thereby extending mold lifespan.
