Taper tap
Taper tap is an internal catch fishing tool designed to retrieve tubular members from the well bore. It is the most economical tool of its kind for freeing fish. The taper tap is manufactured from high alloy steel and special heat treated. The hardened cutting teeth(wickers) are carbo-nitrided and machined on a shallow taper to provide an excellent grip for light duty pick-up jobs. Plain watertight wickers are furnished either plain or threaded for skirts. Standard taper taps are supplied with right hand threads. Left hand threads are also available on request at no extra charge.
When ordering, please specify:
Top connection required;
ID of fish to be retrieved;
Fluted wickers, if required;
OD of nonstandard;
Left hand threads or wickers if required.Die collar
The die collar is an external catch fishing tool designed to retrieved bubular members from the well bore. It is the most economical tool of its kind for freeing fish. The die collar is manufactured from high alloy steel and special heat treated. The hardened cutting teeth(wickers) are carbo-nitrided and machined on a shallow taper to provide an excellent grip for light duty pick-up jobs. Plain watertight wickers are furnished as standard equipment. Fluted wickers are also available on request.
When the hole size is considerably larger than the diameter of the fish, a guide can be assemble to the bottom of the die collar.

Top connection required;
OD of fish to be retrieved;
Fluted wickers, if required;
ID of nonstandard;
Left hand threads or wickers if required.
