"Tangless insert" is also called "no mounting shank thread insert" and is a kind of wire thread insert.
No mounting shank wire thread inserts have a groove similar to hook shape at both ends. When installing the tangless inserts, special installation tools are used. It is not necessary to distinguish the direction of the inserts. It can be installed directly.
