Elegant Bolted Steel Tank As EGSB Reactor For Biogas Production Project

•

Bolted steel tanksare made of individual sections including Glass-Fused-to-Steel, roof, tank ancillaries. All the individual sections are manufactured and finished in the factory according to strict structural specifications, with quality bends, welds and surface processing. The bolt holes and openings will be cut by CNC laser cutting machine automatically. Spray the glass coating on both sides of steel panels automatically. Coating thickness is controlled within 230 microns to 450 microns. After enameling and drying, then firing steel panels in the oven at the temperatures ranging from 850℃ -940℃, which facilitates the interfacial fusion reactions that combine the two materials. That is what we call Glass-Fused-to-Steel. Unlike field welded tanks, field welded tanks must be installed on-site, often resulting in the imperfect and inconsistent finished coating, corrosion and other damage.

What is the EGSB reactor?

EGSB reactor is a successful combination of anaerobic fluidized bed with UASB. During the primeval fluidization in the EGSB reactor, the expansion phase ( volume expansion rate is about 10%-30%) , the velocity of the water flow is very high. It is the speed of flow that , one and one hand accelerate the biochemical reaction by fully mixing the substrate sludge particles with the water , on the other hand , relieve the overloaded status in the bottom of the bed ( usually serious in the static bed , such as UASB ) , and increase the capacity for the biologic material especially for the toxic materials .

The Advantage of Bolted Steel Tank Used As EGSB Reactor

Short construction period, cost-effective tank solution

Superior corrosion resistance, service life is more than 30 years

Easy to install, no need for big installation equipment and/or very skilled labors

Tank volume can be easily expanded

It can be dismantled, removed and relocated

Elegant appearance, tank color can be customized
