SiSiB is a leading manufacturer of silanes and silicones in the world with more than 30 years’ history. Hydroxy silicone fluid is hydroxyl terminated linear polydimethylsiloxane, also known as silanol silicone fluid.

Low molecular weight hydroxyl silicone fluid SiSiB® OF0035 can be used as anti-structuring (crepe hardening) additive for filled silicone rubbers to improve processing performance and extend the storage. Crepe hardening is caused by chemical interactions (hydrogen bonding) between silica reinforcing filler and the polymer fraction. SiSiB® OF0156 can be as an intermediate to synthesize high molecular weight silicone polymer. SiSiB® OF0042 can be used as a base polymer for silicone water repellents and as a hydrophobizing agent in treating silica or other fillers. Low molecular weight hydroxyl silicone fluid emulsion can be used as finishing agent of fiber fabric and additive of plastic products.

SiSiB, a reliable silicone oil supplier, also produces hydroxyl-terminated vinyl silicone fluid SiSiB® OF6053 and SiSiB® OF6055, hydroxyl-terminated methyl-phenyl silicone fluid and hydroxyl-terminated fluorosilicone fluid. Hydroxy-terminated methyl vinyl silicone fluid can provide better mechanical properties. Hydroxy-terminated phenyl silicone fluid can provide better high temperature resistance.

Hydroxy-terminated fluorosilicone fluid is a hydroxy-terminated polymethyl (3,3,3-trifluoropropyl) siloxane fluid. Hydroxyl-terminated fluoro silicone oil has good resistance to high and low temperature and fuel oil. In addition to being used as an anti-structuring agent for heat vulcanized silicone rubber, it can also be used as a hydrophobic and oil-repellent finishing agent for fabrics. Hydroxy fluorosilicone fluid contains trifluoropropyl groups, which enhances its resistance to non-polar solvents, fuels, oils, acids and alkaline chemicals, it combines advantages of fluorocarbon and silicone fluid. Due to its chemical resistance and solvent lubricity, fluorosilicone fluid is not miscible with fuel or oil. Fluorosilicone fluid is an excellent defoamer for organic solvents.

SiSiB hydroxy silicone fluid can be used in hair care to make hair shine, glossy, and fluffy. SiSiB hydroxy silicone fluid can also be used in coatings and pigments to improve defoaming, levelling and anti-skinning.
