Medical Face Masks For Sale
Our medical masks for sale specified in the European Standard EN14683-2019 are classified into two types (Type I and Type II) according to bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) whereby Type II is further divided according to whether or not the mask is splash resistant. The 'R' signifies splash resistance.

Type I Disposable Medical Face Mask
Our Type I disposable medical face masks (Non-sterile), with BFE≥95%, should only be used for patients and other persons to reduce the risk of spread of infections particularly in epidemic or pandemic situations. They are not intended for use by healthcare professionals in an operating room or in other medical settings with similar requirements.
Type II Disposable Medical Face Mask
Our Type II disposable medical face masks, with BFE≥98%, are principally intended for use by healthcare professionals in an operating room or other medical settings with similar requirements. They are also be intended to be worn by patients and other persons to reduce the risk of spread of infections, particularly in epidemic or pandemic situations.
Type IIR Disposable Medical Face Mask
With splash resistance, our type IIR disposable medical face masks are intended to be worn by patients and other persons to reduce the risk of spread of infections, particularly in epidemic or pandemic situations. They are principally intended for use by healthcare professionals in an operating room or other medical settings with similar requirements.
What's the application of medical face masks?
As a minimum, Type I medical face masks are used for patients in order to reduce the risk of the spread of infections, particularly in epidemic or pandemic situations. Type II masks are principally intended for use by healthcare professionals in an operating room or other medical settings with similar requirements.
What's the difference between medical face masks and general face mask?
Since the medical face masks and general face mask all look the same, it’s difficult for us to tell the difference. They have the same 3 ply layers: two layers non-woven fabrics and the most important middle melt-blown fiber layers. There is a very important technical data to distinguish them: Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE). For medical use, the BFE should be ≥95% or ≥99%. For general use, the melt blown fiber does not have such technical data but Particles Filtration Efficiency (PFE). The PFE should be ≥80%.
