Description: Shengxueqiu Bijin is a white to slightly yellow powder.
Composition: Each gram contains 100 mg of sulfaquinoxaline sodium.
Pharmacological Action: Sulfaquinoxaline is a sulfonamide antibacterial drug. It works by inhibiting bacterial folic acid synthesis, leading to inhibition of bacterial growth and reproduction. Sulfaquinoxaline is highly effective against coccidia, including Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, and E. necatrix, which cause coccidiosis in chickens. Sulfaquinoxaline acts by inhibiting the energy metabolism of the coccidia, leading to their death.
