Micronizedwax (such as oxidized polyethylene wax) serve as release agents and lubricants in plastics processing. Their addition enhances mould release efficiency and surface smoothness of finished products. For instance, during polypropylene spinning or polyethylene wax processing, micro-waxes reduce processing temperatures, minimise filament breakage risks, and improve melt flow properties. ‌

Paints and Coatings

Micronizedwax (such as polytetrafluoroethylene wax) enhance paint anti-blocking properties, abrasion resistance, and hydrophobicity. They are commonly used in wood finishes and industrial coatings to prevent surface scratches and enhance gloss.
