Abrasion Resistance and Scratch Resistance

Micronized wax significantly enhances the abrasion resistance and scratch resistance of water-based inks, preventing surface scratches or wear on printed materials. It is particularly suitable for applications prone to damage, such as label printing and packaging printing.

Matting Effect

As a matting agent, micro-wax reduces ink gloss, imparting a matt finish to printed materials. This is ideal for scenarios requiring a subdued visual presentation, such as packaging design. Dispersibility and Compatibility

Micronized wax requires surfactants for dispersion within aqueous systems. With particle sizes typically ranging from 2 to 30 micrometres, its excellent dispersibility ensures uniform distribution of components, enhancing coating smoothness and tactile feel.

Anti-Adhesion Functionality

Micronized wax prevents printed materials from sticking together during high-temperature processing or stacking, proving particularly valuable for protection during wet film drying.
