Micronized wax for industry coating
Micronized wax particles form a microscopic ‘protective layer’ by floating on or protruding from the coating surface, thereby performing the following key functions:
Mechanism: Wax particles are uniformly distributed within the coating, with some remaining exposed on the surface after curing. These hard particles withstand scratching forces from external objects, effectively shielding the underlying paint film.
Application: Widely employed in sectors requiring frequent friction or contact, such as construction machinery, automotive OEM/touch-up paints, industrial flooring, and container coatings.
Mechanism: Wax particles reduce the surface friction coefficient, minimising resistance when objects glide across the coating and imparting a smoother sensation. Simultaneously, they confer a refined, dry-to-the-touch finish.
Applications: Products demanding superior surface tactility, such as electronic casings, domestic appliances (washing machines, refrigerators), and furniture wood finishes.
