INCI name: Cocamide MEA

Cocamide MEA, or CMEA for short, is a non-ionic surfactant commonly sold in a solid flake form. It has similar functions and properties to Cocamide DEA but with better thickening properties. CMEA in shampoois commonly chosen as the secondary surfactant over its rivaling surfactants in anionic-based formulas when high viscosity is preferred for its outstanding thickening property. As it's in solid form at room temperature, it's also easier and cheaper to transport and handle compared to other cocamide mea surfactantcommonly in liquid form.

Mild and low irritation makes it perfect for formulating all kinds of skin-touch products, to name a few, Shampoo, Body Lotion, Facial Cleanser, and Hand Soap Liquid.

With significant foaming, emulsifying, and cleansing ability, also with good hard water resistant property.

Made from natural coconut extract, with an excellent degradation rate of up to 97%.

In solid form at room temperature, easier and cheaper to transport and handle.
