oilfield stimulation chemical Hydroxypropyl guar gum (HPG)
Hydroxypropyl Guar Gum (HPG) is a single chemically modified guar gum with excellent characteristics. Compared to unmodified guar gum powder, HPG has better chemical stability and lower insoluble residues after gel breaking. It is very easily applied in the fracturing operations with temperature resistance up to 90°C. In addition, it is an excellent non-ionic thickener with great compatibility to the base fluid, and has been widely used as a fracturing thickener in Asia market.
