This series iron core linear motorfrom CSK linear motor components is composed of a motor wire coil and magnetic rail. What Is The Difference Between Iron Core Linear Motors And Ironless Linear Motors?

Iron core motors, as the name suggests, have an iron core, which can lead to a cogging effect. This effect can cause uneven motion, making these motors less suitable for applications requiring smooth and precise movement.

Ironless linear motors do not have an iron core, eliminating the cogging effect. This results in much smoother motion, making them ideal for applications that require high precision.
