16 Pin Automotive Connector Housing
Langrun Electric is addressing the car electrical connectionsindustry. At Langrun Electric, there are many different types of 16 pin automotive connectorhousing products and automotive electrical terminals. According to the different design and application, 16 pin housing can be used in wire to wire style, wire to board style,board to board style. Those connector always assemble with wiring harness are attached to each part of the car.
16 pin automotive connectors are divided into waterproof connectors and non-waterproof connectors. Different performance requirements of connectors,especially in the external non-closed state, the required equipment must be waterproof and other properties, thus providing a safe and reliable connection.
Compared with non-waterproof connector, waterproof connector has more stringent requirements in production and material selection. The rubber wire seal always equip with the housing to ensure the connector and housing can be used in the wet working condition.
Langrun Electric obtained IATF16949 international quality control system certification, all the 16 pin automotive connector and housing are comply with RoHs and Reach requirement.
The Electrical Performance of 16 Pin Automotive Connector Housing
01 Contact resistance
High quality connector should have low and stable contact resistance. The contact resistance of the connector ranges from a few millions to tens of millions.
02 Insulation resistance
Insulation resistance is a measure of the insulation performance between the contacts of electrical connectors and between the contacts and the housing. The order of magnitude ranges from hundreds of megabytes to thousands of megabytes.
03 Electrical strength
Electrical strength, or voltage and dielectric voltage resistance, is the ability to withstand the rated test voltage between the contacts of the connector or between the contacts and the housing.
