Designed and manufactured as an attractive, durable stair edging for a variety of applications, it is particularly suited to heavy traffic areas. The range consists of four purpose-designed edgings that use the ProStep Insert System, P5 rated Carborundum inserts, available in six colours . ProStep is the best option when you need a good looking, hard wearing stair edging that meets all relevant Australian Standards and the latest NCC requirements. It's perfect for both internal and external applications, can be fitted to new or existing concrete, ceramic tiles, timber, carpet and most other hard surfaces.

The Fibreglass anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface especially in wet, oily and frosty conditions. The standard nosing colour is a highly visible yellow.

A full range of stainless steel fixings are available allowing the treads to be securely fixed for long-term safe operating conditions.

Carborundum Modified Safety Stair Nosings are manufactured from folded galvanised metal angles or plates which are modified with carborundum grain imbedded in an epoxy coating. This combination provides an extremely durable, hard wearing, high friction surface which provides the very best in anti-slip, safety and product longevity

As carborundum is well known as being the second hardest material to diamond, Xiongchang’s stair nosings are suitable for the most demanding applications. We guarantee that under normal use, the leading edge will not dislodge, wear away or deteriorate over the life of the product.
