Astronomical square eye in Guizhou Pingtang scenic area
Located in the bouyeis PingTang county big nest karst depression of the pit, known as the "eye" in China, put forward by Chinese astronomers in 1994, built from the preparatory to 22 years, completed in September 25, 2016. Led by the national astronomical observatory of the Chinese academy of sciences, the Chinese academy of sciences (cas) is China's independent intellectual property rights, the world's largest single aperture and the most sensitive radio telescope.
