Application: Sodium thiocyanate is usedfor metalore flotation, as accelerator for cement or concrete; spinning solvent for polyacrylonitrileand carbon fiber, as raw materials for pharmaceuticals and pesticidesuch as Methylene Bis Thiocyanate(MBT)and Erythromycin thiocyanate,for electroplating ,photography, etc.
