Benefits
Abrasion Resistance: With a Mohs hardness of 6. MIO improves the abrasion resistance of coatings.
Chemical Resistance: Due to its lamellar structure and inertness, MIO provides barrier properties to primers and topcoats compared to traditional fillers and exhibits good chemical resistance.
Mechanical Reinforcement: Due to its layered structure, MIO mechanically reinforces the adhesive matrix.
UV Resistance: Since MIO is insensitive to UV radiation, it reduces coating degradation.
