Process water corrosion inhibitor (amine neutralizer) STD-8S
STD-8S process water corrosion inhibitor (amine neutralizer) has multifunctional effects: it has both neutralization, film-forming and deoxidation effects. It can not only neutralize the acidic components in the corrosive medium, but also combine with the oil adsorbed on the surface of the base metal to form a film similar to a protective coating to prevent the corrosive medium from corroding the base metal. In addition to the neutralization and film-forming effects, STD-8S also has a deoxidation effect. It can react with oxygen in water to reduce the dissolved oxygen in water, thereby greatly reducing corrosion.
Properties
This additive is a light yellow liquid, alkaline, irritating to the human body, with good thermal stability, and does not contain metal and halogen elements.
Uses
This additive is specially used for corrosion protection of equipment such as dilution steam generators in ethylene plants.
Addition plan
1. In order to make the additive mixed evenly with the medium, the addition point is selected at the inlet of the dilution steam generator water pump;
2.Based on the water inlet flow rate of the dilution steam generator, the addition concentration is generally 10~40mg/kg. First, run the equipment at a concentration of 40 mg/kg for 7 days to allow the film-forming components to form a protective film on the surface of the equipment. Then reduce the concentration to 20 mg/kg. Maintain uniform and continuous addition;
3. Observe and record the changes in the pH value of the wastewater, analyze the development trend or adjust the injection concentration.
Packaging
This additive is packaged in a plastic-lined iron barrel or plastic barrel with a net weight of 200 ± 0.5 or 1000 ± 2.5 kg
Safety protection
This additive is non-toxic, water-soluble, alkaline, and non-flammable and explosive. If it comes into contact with the skin, rinse with clean water for 10 minutes; if it comes into contact with the eyes, in addition to rinsing with clean water for 10 minutes, you must also seek medical attention.
