Magnesium Chloride Anhydrous

Anhydrous magnesium chloride is our main raw materials for producing foundry fluxes, it is a byproduct of titanium sponge from the three largest titanium factories in local places. It is our strong product with best selling points such as high purity, low moisture, and impurity, as well as competitive price and abundant supplying capability.Anhydrous magnesium chloride’s melting point is 714 ℃and the boiling point is 1412 ℃. Its deliquescence is extremely strong, higher than magnesium chloride hexahydrate and magnesium chloride dihydrate. The physical and chemical properties are of the same as basic magnesium chloride hexahydrate. It’s mainly used for the production of metal magnesium and chemical, light industry, coal, construction and other parts.

Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a by-product of the production of titanium sponge, and the reaction principle is TiCL4 +2 Mg === Ti + 2MgCL2. Its generated anhydrous magnesium chloride content is up to 99% or more and does not contain alkali metal salts (KCL, NaCl, CaCL2, etc. ). Anhydrous magnesium chloride was just released when the liquid temperature is above 714 °in red, and then liquid anhydrous magnesium chloride discharged into the iron box after the natural cooling was white solid and then crushed into pieces by mechanical bagging.

Anhydrous magnesium chloride is electrolyzed out of high purity magnesium chloride products because the appearance of anhydrous magnesium chloride lumps is easily contaminated. The purity of the magnesium chloride lumps of magnesium chloride should be guaranteed by the process of its content which is greater than 98%.

The main purpose of Magnesium Chloride Anhydrous:

(1) Metallurgical industry: it’s used to manufacture refractory materials and furnace wall binder, and it is the manufacture of magnesium and magnesium alloy solvent and smelting metal magnesium raw materials.
(2) chemical industry: It’s mainly used for the production of various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, also used as antifreeze raw materials and chemical intermediates catalyst.
(3) Building materials: It is made of hard and corrosion resistant MgO cement with light-burned magnesia (MgO) and can be made into the fireproof board, magnesite insulation house, greenhouse insulation board, artificial marble, Sculpture, fire door core board and mobile homes.
(4) machinery industry: In daily life, with grottoes can be made of mechanical packing boxes, triangular pad edges, and furniture, etc., is "a good way to keep soil material."
(5) transport industry: It’s used as a road ice agent, ice speed, corrosion of small vehicles, higher than the effect of sodium chloride.

(7) Agriculture: It can be used as magnesium fertilizer, potassium magnesium fertilizer, and cotton defoliants.
