Density and Bulk Properties of L-Cysteine S-Sulfate Na Crystal density: The crystal density of the purified product is approximately 1.65–1.72 g/cm³ (measured by the pycnometer method), which is higher than that of L-cysteine (1.34 g/cm³) due to the introduction of the sulfonate group and the sodium ion, resulting in a more compact crystal packing. Bulk density: The bulk density of the crystalline powder is 0.45–0.60 g/cm³, which is affected by particle size and morphology. Granular products processed by granulation have a higher bulk density (0.70–0.85 g/cm³), which is conducive to reducing the volume of packaging and improving the flowability during industrial production. Flowability: The crystalline powder has good flowability (angle of repose: 30°–35°), and is not prone to sticking during tableting or filling processes, which meets the requirements of large-scale industrial production.
