Magnesium Sulphate (or magnesium sulphate) is an inorganic salt containing magnesium,sulfur and oxygen,with the formula MgSO4.It is often encountered as the heptahydrate sulfate mineral epsomite(MgSO4.7H2O),commonly called Epsom Salt. Magnesium sulfate, also named Bitter salt and samarium, molecular structure: MgSO4.7H2O , molecular weight: 246.48. Magnesium sulfate brand is white or colorless crystal, odorless, soluble in water and little soluble in ethanol, and takessulfuric acid and natural magnesium ore as its raw materials. In air , it is liable to airslake into powder , and will lose crystal water if heated. Not containing any toxic substance ,it can be used for medicine, fertilizer, leather, printing , pigment , porcelain, match , explosive, fireproof material and additives for magnesium salts and feedstuff.
