Through reactions such as cyclization, reduction, substitution, and deamination, the chiral pyrrolidone and piperidine core heterocyclic frameworks in the drug molecules can be constructed. It is an important intermediate for synthesizing drugs like parovide.
The chiral center of BOC-L-GLU(ME)-OME directly determines the stereoconfiguration and pharmacological activity of the final drug. Therefore, during the reaction process, the temperature, base amount, and reaction time must be strictly controlled to prevent racemization and the formation of by-products.
