Chrome Oxide Green
Chromium(III) oxide (or chromia) is an inorganic compound with the formula Cr2O3. It is one of the principal oxides of chromium and is used as a pigment. In nature, it occurs as the rare mineral eskolaite. is a very stable , A durable compound, most commonly used as a pigment. Because of its opacity, it is widely used to add color, but it also has heat-resistant properties, making it very suitable for many industrial uses in paints, coatings, inks, ceramics, refractory materials and special glass manufacturing.
Due to its considerable stability, chromium oxide is a commonly used pigment. It was originally called the Meridian.
