ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW Carbon Steel Pipe
: electric-fusion-welded with filter metal added, fabricated from pressure-vessel quality plate of any of several analyses and strength levels and suitable for high-pressure service at moderate temperatures. The standard normally covers pipe 16 in. (400mm) in outside diameter or larger with wall thickness up to 3in. (75mm), inclusive pipe having other dimensions may be furnished provided it complies with all other requirements of this specification.

ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW(JCOE) is used in high-pressure condition and mainly used in power plant, offshore oil industry, chemical industry, Fertilizer, petrochemicals, refineries etc.
Manufacturing Process of ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW Carbon Steel Pipe:
ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 shall be double-welded, full-penetration welds made in accordance with procedures and by welders or welding operators qualified in accordance with the ASME Boiler and pressure Vessel Code, Section IX.
Heat Treatment of ASTM A672 B60/B70/C60/C65/C70 LSAW(JCOE) Carbon Steel Pipe:
All classes other than 10, 11, 12 and 13 shall be heat treated in furnace controlled to ±15℃ and equipped with a recording hydrometer so that heating records are available.
