Flat steel sheetproducts consist of plates, sheets, coils, and strips and they can be further categorized into three groups based on their manufacturing process: hot-rolled steel, cold-rolled steel, and coated steel. Hot-rolled steels are mainly used in automobiles, construction, and machinery engineering. Cold rolled steels are used to manufacture home appliances that require precision. Coated steels are coated with aluminum and zinc in order to enhance the anti-corrosion properties of materials.
